Automatic Distribution Transformer Test System Project Case | Nanke Electric Empowers Guizhou Guoyu Yuanfeng to Enhance Transformer Testing Capabilities

1. Project Overview

Guizhou Guoyu Yuanfeng Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of high- and low-voltage power energy saving equipment, with a product portfolio covering transformers, reactors, intelligent power distribution cabinets, power monitoring instruments, and other power devices. To meet the factory testing requirements for its transformer products, Nanke Electric delivered an automatic distribution transformer test system to the customer.

The system enables automated test workflows, high‑precision data acquisition, and standardized test report generation, effectively improving transformer factory test efficiency and quality control levels, while supporting the customer in establishing a standardized and intelligent transformer testing system.

2. Maximum Test Capability

Maximum capacity: 3150 kVA and below, for both dry‑type and oil‑immersed transformers;

Voltage level: 10/0.4 kV;

Maximum short‑circuit impedance: 8%.

4. Project Highlights

(1)Flexible modular wiring scheme, combining convenience and test safety.

A dedicated test cart is provided for DC resistance and turns ratio tests, requiring only one wiring connection to complete both tests, with collected data directly uploaded to the test system. For no‑load loss, load loss, induced overvoltage, and applied withstand voltage tests, manual wiring is performed in accordance with standard requirements, while the computer program automatically executes the entire test sequence – achieving both high testing efficiency and compliance with high‑voltage safety regulations.

(2) Automatic data calculation and one‑click generation of standardized factory test reports

After all tests are completed, the system automatically performs temperature correction for losses and short‑circuit impedance, as well as all necessary parameter calculations, eliminating manual computation. A built‑in custom report template tailored to the customer's production needs supports querying, printing, and exporting records in Excel/PDF formats. Test data for each transformer is fully retained, meeting the requirements for factory quality traceability management.

(3) One‑stop full‑process services for hassle‑free implementation

We provide one‑stop service covering preliminary solution design, complete equipment production and delivery, on‑site installation and commissioning, and specialized hands‑on training for operators. Dedicated personnel manage the entire process from start to finish, helping customers quickly set up a standardized in‑house quality inspection laboratory.
